Another piece by Jaya Suprana. Set in Javanese style music, one can feel like listening to a Javanese gamelan ensemble. The title 'Tembang Alit' means small song. The lyrical theme in the beginning illustrate the entrance of the singer accompanied with Javanese gamelan. The piece depicts the gamelan style so precisely into minute detail, including the pentatonic scale of A-Bb-C-E-F that dominate the whole piece. While in terms of structure it can be seen that it is A-B-A-C-A-D-E-F-C-little coda, making it a bit like an extended rondo form.
